Peoples Ceramic Industries Ltd. pioneered porcelain tableware manufacturing in Bangladesh in 1962, founded by late Mr. Ansar Uddin Ahmed with a vision to make ceramic products affordable for ordinary people. From the beginning, the company adopted European-style tablewares, creating strong opportunities in both local and export markets. PCI successfully entered international markets like Holland and the United Kingdom in 1982. Over time, the product range expanded from household items to institutional tablewares for hotels and restaurants. The company consistently focused on quality raw materials, appropriate technology, and continuous machinery upgrades to maintain competitiveness. In 2009, PCI introduced decal printing and later established a fully automated facility. Guided by its founder’s vision, Peoples Ceramic remains committed to quality, innovation, and national progress.
