পদের নাম: হাসপাতাল ওয়ার্ড বয় চাকরির দায়িত্বসমূহ নার্স ও ডাক্তারদের রোগীর সাধারণ সেবা প্রদানে সহায়তা করা। রোগীদের এক বেড থেকে অন্য বেডে, ওয়ার্ডে এবং হাসপাতালের বিভিন্ন বিভাগে যাতায়াতে সহায়তা করা। প্রয়োজনে হুইলচেয়ার বা স্ট্রেচারের মাধ্যমে রোগীদের স্থানান্তর করা। হাসপাতালের বেড, ওয়ার্ড ও রোগীদের আশপাশের স্থান পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্ন ও গোছানো রাখা। রোগীদের স্থানান্তর এবং চিকিৎসাসামগ্রী বহনে সহায়তা করা। হাসপাতালের নিয়মকানুন, স্বাস্থ্যবিধি ও নিরাপত্তা নির্দেশনা মেনে চলা। হাসপাতাল কর্তৃপক্ষের নির্দেশ অনুযায়ী অন্যান্য দায়িত্ব পালন করা। চাকরির যোগ্যতা ও শর্তাবলি ন্যূনতম শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা: অষ্টম শ্রেণি বা এসএসসি পাস অগ্রাধিকারযোগ্য। হাসপাতালে কাজের পূর্ব অভিজ্ঞতা থাকলে অগ্রাধিকার দেওয়া হবে; তবে অভিজ্ঞতা বাধ্যতামূলক নয়। শারীরিকভাবে সুস্থ এবং রোগীদের সহায়তা করার সক্ষমতা থাকতে হবে। ভদ্র, সৎ, দায়িত্বশীল ও পরিশ্রমী হতে হবে। ভালো যোগাযোগ ও দলগতভাবে কাজ করার দক্ষতা থাকতে হবে। রোস্টার অনুযায়ী দিন, রাত, সাপ্তাহিক ছুটি ও সরকারি ছুটির দিনে কাজ করার মানসিকতা থাকতে হবে। রোগীদের ব্যক্তিগত তথ্যের গোপনীয়তা বজায় রাখতে হবে। বেতন অভিজ্ঞতা ও হাসপাতালের নীতিমালা অনুযায়ী বেতন আলোচনা সাপেক্ষে নির্ধারণ করা হবে।
