Transmission Engineer

✔ Age: 25–40 years
✔ 1–3 years of relevant experience in ISP, transmission, or telecommunication operations is preferred.
✔ Good understanding of ISP networks, NTTN connectivity, fiber optics, Ethernet, VLAN, IP networking, and basic routing.
✔ Strong troubleshooting, communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
✔ Experience working with NTTN/IIG providers will be considered an advantage.

✔ Coordinate with NTTN providers regarding connectivity, service availability, faults, scheduled maintenance, and technical issues.
✔ Monitor NTTN and transmission links for bandwidth utilization, uptime, latency, packet loss, and overall network performance.
✔ Coordinate link activation, upgrades, downgrades, migrations, and capacity requirements with NTTN providers.
✔ Troubleshoot transmission-related issues and follow up with service providers until complete resolution.
✔ Open, monitor, and close provider service tickets while maintaining accurate records and follow-up status.
✔ Verify NTTN bandwidth allocations, service details, invoices, and billing information, and report any discrepancies.
✔ Coordinate scheduled maintenance activities and ensure timely communication with relevant internal teams.
✔ Maintain updated records of NTTN circuits, bandwidth, service IDs, faults, downtime, maintenance activities, and service changes.
✔ Prepare regular reports covering transmission performance, bandwidth utilization, downtime, and provider-related issues.
✔ Ensure reliable and uninterrupted transmission connectivity through effective coordination and continuous follow-up with NTTN providers.
