Nursing Instructor/Lecturer

✔ Age: Minimum 25 years.

✔ BSc in Nursing / MSc in Nursing from a recognized institution.

✔ Must have a valid nursing registration/license as required by the relevant regulatory authority.

✔ Relevant clinical nursing experience with practical knowledge of patient care and nursing procedures.

✔ Teaching experience in a nursing institution is mandatory.

✔ Strong knowledge of nursing education, clinical practices, patient safety, and professional nursing standards.

✔ Good communication, presentation, mentoring, and student-handling skills.

✔ Ability to effectively combine theoretical instruction with practical and clinical training.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Develop and deliver theoretical nursing lessons in accordance with the academic curriculum and learning objectives.

✔ Prepare lesson plans, lectures, assignments, presentations, and other learning materials to support effective student learning.

✔ Demonstrate nursing procedures, clinical techniques, and practical skills to students.

✔ Supervise students during clinical rotations at hospitals and other healthcare facilities.

✔ Evaluate students’ academic performance, practical skills, and clinical competencies through appropriate assessment methods.

✔ Conduct examinations, quizzes, practical assessments, skill evaluations, and other academic assessments.

✔ Provide students with academic guidance, constructive feedback, mentoring, and learning support.

✔ Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic assessments, clinical performance, and overall progress.

✔ Ensure students follow appropriate nursing ethics, professional standards, clinical protocols, and patient-safety practices.

✔ Coordinate with hospital authorities, clinical instructors, and healthcare professionals regarding students’ clinical training and placement.

✔ Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, departmental activities, faculty meetings, and institutional programs.

✔ Maintain a safe, respectful, inclusive, and effective learning environment for students.

✔ Stay updated with the latest nursing practices, clinical guidelines, healthcare developments, and professional standards.

✔ Support the institution in maintaining high academic and clinical education standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of nursing education.
