Manager - Ocean Freight, Pricing & Business Development

Oversee ocean freight pricing and procurement for import and export shipments.

Negotiate competitive freight rates, surcharges, free time, space, and commercial terms with shipping lines, NVOCCs, co-loaders, and overseas agents.

Build and maintain strong relationships with major shipping lines, NVOCCs, and co-loaders.

Develop and maintain competitive rate sheets, contracts, and quotations.

Track ocean freight market trends, carrier pricing, capacity, and trade lanes.

Provide timely pricing support for sales proposals, RFQs, tenders, and key accounts.

Explore new business opportunities to support revenue and profitability growth.

Coordinate closely with Sales and Operations teams to ensure smooth shipment execution and customer satisfaction.

Manage commercial negotiations, carrier issues, and escalations effectively.

Analyze pricing performance, procurement results, and market opportunities to support business decisions.

Provide guidance and support to the pricing and procurement team as needed.
