Manager (Business Development)

Job Context

We are seeking a highly motivated and hardworking Manager – Business Development with strong English communication skills and solid technical knowledge. The role will focus on promoting software and IT solutions, developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting the company’s expansion. Experience in government sales and tender management will be preferred, while banking or corporate sales experience will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct client visits, acquire new clients, and maintain strong business relationships.

• Drive sales of customized software, application development, ERP solutions, and IT-enabled services.

• Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold calls, referrals, and other channels.

• Apply knowledge of digital and social media marketing to support business development activities.

• Manage the complete government tender lifecycle, including EOI, RFP, quotation submission, and clarification processes.

• Handle e-GP tenders and ensure compliance with applicable PPR requirements.

• Research and track tender opportunities through platforms such as All Tender, Tender Bazar, and Tender BD.

• Coordinate with technical teams to understand solutions and develop effective business proposals.

• Prepare monthly tender performance reports covering won, lost, shortlisted, and cancelled tenders.

• Prepare daily work plans and provide regular progress updates to management.

• Perform other business development and tender-related duties assigned by management.
