Industrial Engineering Trainee

Milanty Apparels Ltd., established in 2018, is an experimental garment manufacturing unit currently undergoing a comprehensive transformation focused on industrial engineering, productivity, quality, organizational development, management systems, and continuous improvement.

We are seeking a young, analytical, and highly motivated Industrial Engineering Trainee who will work closely with the Managing Director, General Manager, and factory team.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing production processes, workflows, and operating methods.
• Conduct time and method studies and establish accurate baseline data.
• Identify production bottlenecks, waiting time, unnecessary movement, rework, downtime, and productivity losses.
• Assist with capacity analysis, line balancing, and workstation optimization.
• Measure productivity and efficiency before and after implementing improvements.
• Analyze organizational structure, functions, responsibilities, and workflows.
• Support the preparation of organization charts, job descriptions, and responsibility matrices.
• Assist in establishing practical management routines and performance indicators.
• Contribute to developing the company’s Quality Management System based on ISO 9001 principles.
• Prepare and enhance procedures, work instructions, forms, and records.
• Develop practical Excel-based monitoring tools and dashboards.
• Monitor productivity, efficiency, quality, rework, downtime, absenteeism, and other relevant KPIs.
• Work directly with operators, supervisors, and management on the factory floor to identify root causes and implement practical solutions.
• Track improvement initiatives and measure their effectiveness.
• Document successful improvements and support a culture of continuous improvement.

Note: This is not a documentation-only or ISO-focused position. The role requires combining factory-floor observation, Industrial Engineering, data analysis, management systems, and practical implementation.
