Executive/Senior Executive (Showroom Audit)

Key Responsibilities

Inventory and Stock Control

• Conduct physical stock verification of home appliances and electronic products, including televisions, refrigerators, and washing machines, and reconcile physical inventory with ERP and ledger records.
• Identify and document damaged, defective, open-box, and display products, ensuring proper claims, returns, and adjustment procedures are followed.
• Verify serial numbers and IMEIs of high-value electronic products to prevent inventory discrepancies, stock losses, and unauthorized activities.

Financial and Sales Reconciliation

• Verify daily cash collections, credit card transactions, and mobile banking receipts against Point of Sale (POS) system records.
• Audit sales invoices, delivery challans, and discount approvals to ensure compliance with company policies and pricing guidelines.
• Review customer credit sales, installment transactions, and outstanding dues to ensure accurate records and proper recovery follow-up.

Compliance and Showroom Operations

• Monitor showroom maintenance, product display standards, and the accuracy of promotional price tags, warranty information, and product labeling.
• Identify suspicious sales patterns, cash handling irregularities, and potential fraud or policy violations through regular audit checks.
• Prepare and submit detailed audit reports to Head Office, highlighting findings, discrepancies, control weaknesses, and recommended corrective actions.
• Perform other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Department Head or authorized supervisors.
