Building & Maintenance Specialist

 

Job Purpose

Oversee construction, renovation, and maintenance projects for new and existing stores, headquarters, and warehouses, ensuring standardized designs, quality workmanship, cost efficiency, timely completion, and compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise construction, renovation, and maintenance projects across stores, headquarters, and warehouse facilities.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to meet technical specifications, quality standards, and approved budgets.

• Prepare and verify BOQs, cost estimates, material specifications, and project budgets.

• Develop and review building layouts, technical drawings, and construction plans using AutoCAD.

• Monitor project progress, schedules, construction quality, and workplace safety.

• Manage tendering activities, evaluate quotations, and support cost-effective procurement.

• Inspect existing facilities to identify maintenance requirements and recommend necessary repairs or improvements.

• Review maintenance and renovation proposals and monitor expenditure for efficient resource utilization.

• Coordinate infrastructure planning for new store openings and ensure timely project readiness and handover.

• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, BOQs, budgets, contracts, progress reports, and maintenance records.

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support infrastructure development and operational needs.
