The contract may be extended based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding. Job Purpose Provide senior technical leadership in the planning, design, implementation, and supervision of household- and institution-level Rainwater Harvesting Systems (RWHS) for safe drinking water. The role will also oversee surface water restoration initiatives, including canal and pond excavation or re-excavation for agricultural, livestock, and biodiversity needs. The position will lead the implementation of integrated water resource management interventions in coastal and climate-vulnerable areas of Bangladesh, ensuring technical excellence, long-term sustainability, community participation, and effective coordination with government authorities and local stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise the Regional Adaptation Clinic to ensure efficient, high-quality, and results-focused operations while making effective use of infrastructure, equipment, vehicles, digital systems, and other resources. Provide technical leadership in the planning, design, implementation, and supervision of Rainwater Harvesting Systems (RWHS), pond and canal restoration, and other climate-resilient water infrastructure. Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies, prepare engineering designs, technical specifications, BoQs, and provide procurement support and construction supervision while maintaining quality, cost efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with relevant standards. Assess and prioritise integrated water resource management initiatives based on community requirements, climate vulnerability, technical feasibility, environmental considerations, and programme objectives. Prepare and supervise regional work plans, budgets, procurement strategies, implementation timelines, monitoring activities, quality assurance processes, MIS reporting, and evidence-generation initiatives. Establish and maintain effective collaboration with government agencies, Local Government Institutions (LGIs), research organisations, development partners, and other relevant stakeholders while promoting knowledge exchange, innovation, learning, and climate adaptation planning. Ensure adherence to organisational policies, donor requirements, safeguarding standards, environmental and social safeguards, GESI principles, and financial control procedures. Prepare high-quality reports, technical documents, case studies, and management updates as required. The Trainer – English Language will conduct classroom-based English training focused on spoken English, communication, workplace English, and professional interaction. The role aims to strengthen participants’ communication abilities, confidence, and workplace readiness for both local and international employment opportunities. Major Responsibilities Conduct English language classes following the approved curriculum, lesson plans, and training schedules. Develop learners’ skills in speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, listening, reading, and writing through interactive activities. Provide training on workplace communication, Business English, customer service, telephone etiquette, presentations, interviews, and professional interactions.
