UI/UX Engineer

✔ At least 3 years of professional experience in UI/UX design and front-end development, demonstrated through a strong portfolio of completed and live projects. Candidates should include relevant portfolio links or screenshots.

✔ Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript, with hands-on experience using Tailwind CSS.

✔ Skilled in Figma or similar UI/UX design tools, with the ability to create designs from initial wireframes to high-fidelity interactive prototypes.

✔ Practical understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive, mobile-first design principles.

✔ Experience working with established design systems and maintaining consistency across user interfaces.

✔ Hands-on experience integrating and consuming REST APIs from frontend applications.

✔ Ability to clearly explain design decisions, accept constructive feedback, and test ideas with real users.

✔ Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

DigiProd Pass Ltd is looking for a skilled and creative UI/UX Engineer to join its Implementation Services Team.

In this role, you will be responsible for both designing and developing the user interfaces that customers and end users interact with, including branded Digital Product Passport pages, customer portals, and dashboards built using the platform’s APIs and theming capabilities.

About DigiProd Pass Ltd.

DigiProd Pass Ltd is a Digital Product Passport (DPP) software company and part of TVS Group. The company’s platform helps manufacturers create, manage, and share product information required under evolving EU regulations, including the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR).

The engineering team is based in Bangladesh. The Implementation Services Team is responsible for turning new customer requirements into live deployments by configuring, integrating, and extending the platform to suit different products and business systems. The team works through the platform’s APIs and configuration capabilities without modifying the core product.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Design and develop customer-branded Digital Product Passport experiences, typically accessed by users through QR code scanning on mobile devices.

✔ Use the platform’s theming, configuration options, and APIs to create customized customer experiences.

✔ Design and build customer portals and dashboards when standard platform interfaces do not fully meet customer requirements.

✔ Translate business and user requirements into effective wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes.

✔ Test prototypes and interface designs with customers or internal users and refine them based on feedback.

✔ Develop responsive and high-quality frontend interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, ensuring compatibility with the company’s Next.js-based frontend ecosystem.

✔ Maintain consistency with the existing design system and propose new UI components or patterns when required.

✔ Ensure all interfaces are responsive, accessible, fast, and user-friendly, following WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards.

✔ Design interfaces that support multiple EU languages and provide a smooth experience across different devices and screen sizes.

✔ Prepare clear and concise design notes and acceptance criteria to support effective QA testing.

✔ Identify UI gaps, usability issues, and customer-specific feature requirements.

✔ Document and communicate UI gaps and feature requests to the Product Engineering Team, clearly explaining the underlying customer needs and use cases.
