Additional Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
- Prior experience working on Metro Rail or other large-scale infrastructure projects will be given preference.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
Responsibilities & Context
- Assist technicians in carrying out inspection, preventive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems.
- Support the installation, replacement, and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, or facility-related equipment and components.
- Prepare and organize the required tools, materials, and spare parts before maintenance activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of work areas, tools, and equipment at all times.
- Follow technical instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines during work execution.
- Assist in recording maintenance activities and preparing service reports, checklists, and other required documentation.
- Provide support during emergency maintenance, equipment breakdowns, and urgent repair activities to minimize downtime.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of tools, equipment, and materials after completing assigned tasks.
- Coordinate with technicians and supervisors to complete maintenance work efficiently and within scheduled timelines.
- Perform any other maintenance-related duties assigned by the management from time to time.
