Supervisor – (Hatchery Operations)

• Work Location: Fani Hatchery.

• Demonstrate sound practical knowledge of hatchery management, incubation processes, chick handling, and production monitoring.

• Possess a strong understanding of hatchery operations and management practices.

• Maintain proper biosecurity protocols, hygiene standards, and disease prevention measures throughout hatchery operations.

Nourish Poultry and Hatchery Ltd. is looking for a skilled and responsible Supervisor – Hatchery Operations to manage daily hatchery activities and ensure efficient operations, high hatchability rates, quality chick production, and effective biosecurity. The selected candidate will supervise staff, monitor equipment performance, oversee vaccination and chick dispatch, maintain accurate production records, and ensure adherence to company SOPs and production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee egg receiving, grading, fumigation, storage, setting, incubation, hatching, and chick dispatch activities.

• Monitor hatchery machinery, incubators, hatchers, ventilation, temperature, humidity, and sanitation systems.

• Ensure proper biosecurity, hygiene, and disease prevention practices throughout the hatchery.

• Achieve production targets by maintaining high hatchability rates, chick quality, and operational efficiency.

• Supervise hatchery personnel and assign duties to ensure smooth workflow.

• Oversee vaccination, chick handling, sexing, packing, and loading procedures.

• Prepare and maintain daily production records, mortality reports, hatchability data, and equipment performance reports.

• Coordinate with breeder farms to ensure a consistent supply of eggs.

• Identify operational issues and communicate technical or maintenance requirements to management.

• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, animal welfare guidelines, and workplace safety standards.

• Support the Hatchery Manager in meeting production goals and maintaining quality standards.
