Sr. Support & Network Engineer

✔ 1–3 years of professional experience, preferably in Internet Service Provider (ISP) operations.

✔ Strong knowledge of MikroTik, FTTH devices, Cisco switches, and professional email communication.

✔ Sound understanding of TCP/IP, Subnetting, Mail Server, FTP, MRTG, OLT, ONU, and network troubleshooting.

✔ Hands-on experience in Switch & Router Configuration, structured network cabling, and network deployment.

✔ Strong expertise in MikroTik administration, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.

✔ Ability to analyze customer technical requirements and efficiently troubleshoot network-related issues.

✔ Good understanding of network monitoring, fault diagnosis, and preventive maintenance.

✔ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

✔ Ability to work under pressure and effectively manage multiple technical support tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

✔ Previous experience working with an Internet Service Provider (ISP) will be highly preferred.

✔ Professional networking certifications such as MikroTik (MTCNA/MTCRE), Cisco (CCNA), or equivalent will be considered an added advantage.

✔ Candidates with strong troubleshooting capabilities and hands-on experience in enterprise networking environments will receive priority.

✔ Willingness to work in rotational shifts and respond promptly to network incidents when required.

City Online Ltd., a reputed Internet Service Provider (ISP), is looking for a skilled, dedicated, and responsible Sr. Support & Network Engineer to strengthen its Technical Operations Team. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the company's network infrastructure while providing excellent technical support to ensure uninterrupted and reliable internet services.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wireless Network infrastructures.

✔ Configure, manage, and maintain MikroTik routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices to ensure secure, stable, and high-performance network connectivity.

✔ Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, VTP, Trunking Protocols, Inter-VLAN Routing, and other Layer 2/Layer 3 networking technologies.

✔ Monitor network performance using network monitoring tools and proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve network faults and outages.

✔ Provide technical support to customers through phone calls, emails, remote access, and on-site visits, ensuring prompt issue resolution.

✔ Analyze network logs, traffic patterns, and performance reports to identify root causes and implement preventive solutions.

✔ Optimize network infrastructure and implement enhancements to improve performance, reliability, scalability, and security.

✔ Perform routine preventive maintenance and system health checks on networking equipment and services.

✔ Maintain accurate technical documentation, network diagrams, operational records, and troubleshooting reports.

✔ Coordinate with internal technical teams and vendors to resolve complex networking issues.

✔ Ensure timely incident response and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional technical support.

✔ Participate in a 24/7 rotational shift schedule to support continuous network operations and service availability.

✔ Stay updated with emerging networking technologies, cybersecurity best practices, and industry standards through continuous learning and professional development.

✔ Perform any other networking, technical support, or operational responsibilities assigned by the Management.
