- Proven experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA), testing, or a similar role within an IT environment
- Strong knowledge of SQA methodologies and quality models such as Agile, Waterfall, and V-Model
- Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, Cypress, or similar platforms
- Hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, JMeter, Postman, TestNG, Jira, and Azure DevOps
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle management processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to identify, document, and track software defects effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Capability to manage multiple testing projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong documentation skills along with analytical thinking
- Experience in both manual and automated testing techniques
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automation testing frameworks
- Strong knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured
- Experience in testing both web and mobile applications
- Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
- Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as C++, Python, and JavaScript is an added advantage
- Strong understanding of tools and technologies including API Testing, JIRA, JMeter, Selenium, etc.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled SQA Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and executing comprehensive testing strategies, identifying and reporting defects, and ensuring the overall quality and reliability of software products. This role plays a critical part in maintaining high-quality standards, collaborating with development teams, and ensuring that solutions meet both client and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain a complete testing strategy, including both manual and automated testing approaches.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts effectively.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Work closely with the development team to understand requirements and align testing activities with project objectives.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in software quality assurance.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve product quality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as business analysts, developers, and project managers to define testing strategies and plans.
- Execute test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Use bug-tracking tools to report, monitor, and manage software defects.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid-level SQA engineers, supporting their professional growth.
- Lead test planning activities, including defining test coverage and prioritizing tasks based on risk.
- Set up and maintain testing environments, including necessary hardware, software, and network configurations.
