Sr. Project Engineer/Project Engineer-Civil (RCL)

Ability to develop and manage project engineering schedules with accurate forecasting.

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to perform efficiently under pressure and strong quantitative analytical skills.

Oversee daily construction activities at the project site, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with approved structural designs and management directives.

Apply strong technical expertise in the construction of flexible pavement, rigid pavement, RCC drainage structures, and renovation or retrofitting projects.

Prepare accurate estimates of construction materials in line with project budgets, company policies, and established guidelines.

Enforce quality control measures for all construction materials to ensure the durability, reliability, and long-term performance of completed works.

Monitor and minimize material wastage during construction while ensuring proper storage and stacking of materials on site.

Maintain the Measurement Book (MB) accurately and verify the quantities of work completed by subcontractors.

Compare actual project progress with the planned schedule on a regular basis and implement corrective actions to prevent delays.

Lead, supervise, and coordinate subordinate engineers, supervisors, and technical support staff to ensure efficient site operations.

Coordinate effectively with subcontractors and maintain the Contractor Book, ensuring it is reviewed and signed by them at least once every week.

Supervise site layout surveying activities to ensure accuracy before the commencement of construction work.

Keep all project site records updated, including approved drawings, site observation records, monitoring logs, and client or property-related documentation.

Maintain proper housekeeping standards, site cleanliness, and full compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.

Provide regular updates to the Head Office regarding project execution, milestones, and overall progress.

Take full responsibility for project execution by preventing defective work, reducing material wastage, and ensuring timely and successful project completion.
