  • Strong understanding of manual testing concepts
  • Knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes
  • Experience in API testing (Postman)
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and structured thinking
  • Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
  • Basic understanding of programming concepts
  • Knowledge of SQL for data validation
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Job Context:
VERSATILO Group is looking for a Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer for its tech startup. The role focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software products through manual testing, test case design, bug tracking, and support across the development lifecycle.

This role is ideal for a methodical and responsible individual who can systematically identify issues, maintain product stability, and collaborate effectively with development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Laravel (PHP framework)
  • Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces with React.js
  • Work with React Native for cross-platform mobile app development (strong advantage)
  • Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs
  • Support backend services using Node.js as needed
  • Implement basic real-time features using WebSockets/Socket.io
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and system issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, operations)
  • Maintain clean, well-documented, and version-controlled code
  • Follow defined development workflows and deployment processes
