Site Head-Operations (Warehouse Management)

K&A Logistics Ltd., a joint venture between Kanaphuli Group and Advantis, is seeking a qualified professional to join its operations team.

Job Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Management

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities, including goods receiving, storage, order picking, and dispatch operations.

• Ensure efficient warehouse functioning throughout the assigned shift.

• Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to facilitate timely processing and delivery.

Inventory Control & Documentation

• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock audits.

• Ensure proper documentation of warehouse transactions, including goods receipts, stock transfers, and dispatches.

• Work closely with the inventory team to reduce stock discrepancies and minimize losses.

Staff Supervision & Coordination

• Lead warehouse personnel, allocate responsibilities, and ensure effective workforce management.

• Conduct shift handovers and communicate pending tasks, operational updates, and relevant issues clearly.

• Ensure employees comply with company policies, workplace rules, and disciplinary standards.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure warehouse activities comply with applicable safety regulations and operational best practices.

• Carry out regular safety inspections and enforce appropriate material-handling procedures.

• Ensure hazardous materials are stored and handled safely under controlled conditions.

• Initiate work permits for high-risk activities and ensure strict adherence to established safety protocols.

Training & Awareness Programs

• Train and guide warehouse employees on operational procedures and workplace safety requirements.

• Conduct orientation sessions for newly recruited and temporary staff.

• Maintain accurate records of employee attendance at training sessions for future reference.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Track warehouse productivity and report key performance indicators to management.

• Identify operational challenges and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of inventory levels, damaged goods, and stock discrepancies.

Emergency Preparedness & Response

• Ensure warehouse employees understand emergency procedures and response protocols.

• Assist in conducting emergency drills and ensure essential safety equipment remains available.

• Respond promptly to safety incidents, equipment malfunctions, and other operational emergencies.

Other Responsibilities

- Perform additional warehouse and logistics-related duties as assigned by management.
