Additional Requirements

Job Context
The Senior Student Consultant will guide students through the complete study abroad and visa process, from initial counselling and academic assessment to university admission, documentation, visa application, and pre-departure support.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of international education systems, admission requirements, financial documentation, and student visa procedures, with a focus on accuracy, ethical counselling, compliance, and professional client service.
Key Responsibilities
Student Counselling

Counsel students for study opportunities across New Zealand, UK, Canada, Greece, Denmark, Finland, and other destinations.

Assess academic profile, English proficiency, finances, career goals, study gaps, and visa eligibility.

Recommend suitable destinations, institutions, programmes, and pathways.

Explain fees, scholarships, living costs, visa conditions, timelines, and post-study options.

Provide transparent advice on challenges and potential visa risks.

Conduct counselling with students and parents and maintain regular follow-ups.
Admissions & Application Management
-
Manage applications from profile assessment to enrolment.

Assist with university/institution and programme selection.
-
Review documents and submit accurate applications within deadlines.
-
Liaise with institutions regarding offers, interviews, payments, enrolments, and confirmations.

Monitor applications and provide timely updates.
Documentation & Visa Processing

Prepare and verify admission and visa documentation according to destination requirements.

Ensure compliance with relevant immigration and visa authorities.

Assist with SOPs, Genuine Student statements, motivation letters, study plans, and cover letters.

Verify academic, employment, sponsorship, financial, tax, and supporting documents.

Guide students on medical, police clearance, biometrics, insurance, accommodation, and interviews.

Conduct a final document audit before visa submission.

Support appropriate refusal reviews and reapplications.
Compliance & Quality Control

Stay updated on admission policies, visa regulations, and immigration requirements.

Ensure ethical, accurate, and transparent counselling without unrealistic promises.

Identify academic, financial, documentation, and immigration risks.

Maintain confidential and complete student records.
Communication & Coordination

Maintain professional communication with students, parents, institutions, partners, and relevant authorities.

Respond to enquiries accurately and promptly.

Coordinate with admission, documentation, accounts, marketing, and management teams.

Escalate complex or high-risk cases when necessary.
Team Leadership

Train and mentor junior consultants and documentation officers.
