Responsibilities & Context
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, ACCA, or relevant financial management certifications will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, financial analysis, management reporting, and variance analysis.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, utilities, production yield, wastage, and overhead allocation.
- Hands-on experience in inventory valuation, reconciliation, cost control, CAPEX, CWIP, and fixed asset monitoring.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, data analysis, and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Ability to prepare and present accurate financial reports, dashboards, KPI analyses, and management insights.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills, with the ability to identify cost inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with Production, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance teams.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, costing policies, financial reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet strict reporting deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on cost optimization, operational efficiency, productivity improvement, and business performance enhancement.
