Senior Officer - IE (Pre-Production for Woven Garments)

✔ Age: 25 to 32 years.

✔ Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Industrial Engineering (IE) within the garment manufacturing industry.

✔ Practical experience in Blazers, Formal Dress Pants, Overcoats, Blouses, and other tailored woven garments is mandatory.

✔ Strong expertise in pre-production activities, SMV analysis, Operation Bulletin (OB) preparation, line balancing, method improvement, and production planning.

✔ Proficiency in GSD and time study techniques for productivity analysis and process optimization.

✔ Good understanding of sewing operations, workstation layout, capacity planning, and manpower allocation.

✔ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.

✔ Ability to work collaboratively with Production, Technical, QA, Planning, and Maintenance teams.

✔ Good communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer (IE) to support production efficiency, process optimization, and continuous improvement across garment manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Perform pre-production activities, including pre-setting, pre-planning, and line preparation before bulk production of Blazers, Ladies' Tops, and Trousers.

✔ Finalize the Operation Bulletin (OB) in coordination with the Central IE team during the size set stage.

✔ Conduct SMV analysis using GSD or time study methods and ensure accurate preparation and maintenance of Operation Bulletins (OB).

✔ Develop efficient line layouts and allocate manpower based on production targets, pitch time, machine capacity, and operational requirements.

✔ Identify and eliminate Non-Value-Added (NVA) activities through method improvement and process optimization.

✔ Develop and implement improved sewing methods during the size set stage to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality.

✔ Ensure smooth style changeovers with minimal production disruption through effective planning and coordination.

✔ Collaborate closely with the Production, Technical, Quality Assurance (QA), Planning, and Maintenance teams to resolve production-related challenges.

✔ Monitor production efficiency, analyze bottlenecks, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.

✔ Prepare IE reports, production analysis, and performance documentation as required.

✔ Perform any other Industrial Engineering responsibilities assigned by the IE Manager, Head of IE, or Management.
