Senior Officer / Assistant Manager - Information Technology (IT)

• Minimum 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in system administration, server management, and enterprise IT infrastructure, preferably within a higher education institution or large organization.

• Solid technical knowledge of system administration, network security, access control, and identity management.

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Bangla, with proficiency in MS Office and technical documentation.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative skills with high standards of integrity and confidentiality.

• Detail-oriented, flexible, and fully capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The university is seeking a qualified, dynamic professional for the position of Senior Officer/Assistant Manager in the Information Technology (IT) Department. This role is responsible for managing and supporting the university’s IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, and server operations to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient academic and administrative services.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain secure, reliable operations of university servers, enterprise systems, and IT infrastructure.

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues, performing root cause analysis to ensure stability.

• Install, configure, maintain, and secure servers, operating systems, and enterprise software platforms.

• Implement security protocols, including access management, OS hardening, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning.

• Monitor system performance, execute data backup protocols, and lead technical infrastructure projects.
