• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential. This is a mandatory requirement, with 25% weightage in the selection process allocated to MS Office skills.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in research and organizational development.
• Prior experience in consulting firms, research organizations, or similar professional environments will be considered an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in developing interactive training modules and delivering training sessions to diverse audiences.
• Proven experience in preparing technical proposals, inception reports, and other key consultancy deliverables.

Job Context

The Research and Training Specialist will provide technical expertise in the planning, design, and implementation of CBSG’s research, evaluation, and organizational development consultancy assignments. The role will also be responsible for coordinating consultancy projects, supporting business development initiatives, and contributing to proposal preparation and project acquisition.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee research, evaluation, and organizational development consulting assignments while maintaining effective communication with clients.

• Monitor ongoing consultancy activities, track progress, and ensure the timely completion and submission of project deliverables.

• Design and manage both quantitative and qualitative research, assessment, and evaluation studies.

• Conduct organizational capacity assessments and support the implementation of institutional capacity-building initiatives.

• Assist in preparing technical proposals, concept notes, research methodologies, and consultancy proposals.

• Develop relevant training materials and modules and deliver training programs for diverse stakeholders and clients.

• Prepare comprehensive analytical reports and deliver professional presentations to clients and stakeholders.

• Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and capacity-building programs for public and private sector organizations and stakeholders.
