Quality Assurance - Knit & Woven

Job Context

HEYINZ Sourcing BD is a prominent apparel sourcing and manufacturing company dedicated to supplying premium-quality garments to international fashion brands and retailers. The Executive – Quality Assurance (Knit & Woven) is responsible for ensuring that every garment is manufactured in compliance with buyer requirements, company standard operating procedures (SOPs), and globally recognized quality standards. The role involves close coordination with factories, merchandising teams, production staff, and buyers to oversee quality throughout the entire manufacturing process, from fabric inspection to final shipment. The position demands strong technical expertise in knit and woven apparel, quality assurance systems, manufacturing operations, and continuous improvement practices to achieve timely delivery while maintaining the highest standards of product quality.

Job Responsibility 

• Oversee the complete production cycle, from raw material inspection through final shipment, to ensure compliance with buyer specifications and HEYINZ standard operating procedures.

• Inspect fabrics, trims, accessories, and workmanship before granting production approval.

• Evaluate PP Samples, Size Set Samples, and TOP Samples to confirm that bulk production follows approved references.

• Carry out routine inline inspections and recommend corrective measures to reduce defects during manufacturing.

• Check garment measurements, stitching quality, workmanship, printing, embroidery, washing, and finishing to ensure conformity with approved specifications.

• Ensure factories consistently follow established quality standards, process controls, and compliance requirements.

• Perform pre-production risk assessments and implement preventive actions to minimize potential quality issues.

• Monitor fabric characteristics such as shade consistency, GSM, shrinkage, color fastness, and compliance with physical testing requirements.

• Verify cutting accuracy, marker utilization, fabric relaxation, panel matching, and bundle management throughout production.

• Confirm that machine configurations, production line arrangements, and manufacturing methods comply with approved standards.

• Collaborate with Merchandising, Production, Technical, and Compliance teams to address and resolve quality-related concerns efficiently.

• Conduct periodic factory audits and evaluate overall factory quality performance.

• Examine quality reports, inspection documentation, and corrective action plans for effectiveness and compliance.

• Lead Pre-Production Meetings (PPM) to ensure factory personnel clearly understand all technical and quality requirements.

• Perform inline, midline, pre-final, and final inspections in accordance with AQL standards.

• Authorize shipments only after verifying full compliance with buyer specifications and quality expectations.

• Analyze customer complaints and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.

• Maintain accurate and organized quality records, inspection reports, and production documentation.

• Provide training to factory QC personnel on buyer requirements, quality expectations, and HEYINZ quality procedures.

• Track production schedules and promptly report any potential quality or delivery risks to management.

• Ensure all garments successfully meet metal detection, needle control, product safety, and buyer compliance requirements before shipment.

• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts aimed at minimizing defects, increasing operational efficiency, and improving customer satisfaction.

• Protect the confidentiality of buyer information, product development activities, and internal company procedures.

• Carry out any other quality assurance duties assigned by management.
