Position: Production Manager (Sewing) – Denim Expert

We are seeking a dynamic, proactive, and results-driven Production Manager (Sewing) with expertise in denim to drive production excellence and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve daily and monthly production targets while ensuring strict compliance with buyer quality standards.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing operations according to approved production schedules.
- Prepare and communicate work schedules to production teams to meet objectives efficiently.
- Optimize the utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
- Drive 100% capacity utilization and provide strong floor-level leadership to production teams.
- Monitor production flow from line feeding and layout planning through packing to ensure on-time shipment.
- Track defined KPIs, analyze production performance, and implement timely corrective actions.
- Resolve operational and technical production issues to maintain smooth workflow and high product quality.
- Ensure final products meet all buyer specifications and quality requirements.
- Implement inventory control, waste reduction, and cost-saving initiatives across production processes.
- Minimize production losses, including rejection, alteration, over-cutting, over-production, and excess overtime.
- Maintain updated knowledge of modern garment machinery, automation, and process improvements.
- Identify training and skill development needs to enhance team efficiency and overall production standards.
- Prepare and submit production reports covering cost, maintenance, consumption, stock, manpower, quality, and safety.
- Ensure compliance with social compliance standards and workplace safety requirements.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
