Product Manager (Agri Machineries)

ACI Motors Limited, a subsidiary of ACI PLC, is one of Bangladesh’s leading suppliers of agricultural mechanization solutions. Its Agri Machineries Business provides a wide range of advanced equipment, including tractors, power tillers, combine harvesters, rice transplanters, reapers, diesel engines, and other modern farming machinery, enabling farmers to enhance productivity through reliable and innovative mechanized solutions.

The company is seeking a Product Manager to lead the growth and profitability of its Agri Machineries product portfolio. The role involves formulating product strategies, overseeing the entire product lifecycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to introduce and manage market-leading agricultural solutions.

Responsibilities :

 

• Develop and execute product strategies, business plans, and annual roadmaps for the assigned Agri Machineries product portfolio.

• Conduct market research, customer visits, and competitor assessments to identify market opportunities, customer requirements, and emerging industry trends.

• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including product selection, sourcing, market introduction, growth management, and phase-out planning.

• Develop product positioning, pricing strategies, sales forecasts, and profitability analyses to support business expansion and revenue growth.

• Collaborate with overseas principals and suppliers to introduce new products while ensuring product availability and market competitiveness.

• Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Service, Spare Parts, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure effective product planning and successful execution.

• Plan and coordinate new product launches, dealer engagement initiatives, product demonstrations, exhibitions, and promotional activities.

• Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, market share, and customer feedback, and recommend corrective actions to enhance business performance.

• Prepare business cases, product performance reports, and management presentations to support strategic decision-making.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, key customers, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to promote sustainable business growth.

• Assess business risks, analyze market conditions, and recommend strategies to strengthen product competitiveness.

• Carry out any additional responsibilities assigned by the reporting supervisor.
