Product Development Analyst

• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with the capacity to interpret sales, margin, stock, and product performance data.

Job Purpose

The Officer, Product Development Analyst will support product development activities by analyzing product performance, sales, margins, stock efficiency, and product movement across stores and distribution centers. The role will focus on preparing product-level insights and reports, identifying productivity gaps, supporting product evaluation, and developing analytical systems to improve product distribution and inventory efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the performance of active products nationwide by analyzing sales, margins, and overall product productivity.

• Prepare and review sales and margin reports by division, department, sub-department, and product category to support business evaluation.

• Assess the productivity of individual products and identify improvement opportunities based on sales, margin, and stock performance.

• Monitor product traffic and movement across stores and Distribution Centers (DCs) and identify factors affecting efficient product flow.

• Establish and maintain standard sales quantity benchmarks for various product categories.

• Develop product- and category-level reports for the PAD Manager and MD team to support product evaluation and informed business decisions.

• Analyze and manage minor-level stock, effective stock, and MPKM for individual products and stores to maintain appropriate inventory levels.

• Monitor store-level stock efficiency and identify opportunities to improve product availability and maximize sales potential.

• Ensure consistency of product tags and variants across nationwide stores and support standardization for simulation and store operations.

• Develop and maintain analytical systems and tools to facilitate efficient product distribution and manage product movement across stores and DCs.

• Collaborate with relevant departments to identify and resolve issues related to product movement, inventory, and distribution.

• Prepare regular reports, analytical summaries, presentations, and other required materials for the PAD Manager and management.
