Additional Requirements

Enterprise Network Architecture: Strong expertise in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and data center networks, with advanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN, STP, VTP, HSRP, VRRP, EtherChannel, and vPC.
Network Infrastructure & Security: Proven experience in configuring, administering, and optimizing enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, WLC, AP, WAF, load balancers, and unified communications platforms from vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, and others.
Cybersecurity & Secure Connectivity: Strong knowledge of ACL, NAT, IPSec VPN, SSL VPN, GRE tunnels, Zero Trust Architecture, network segmentation, and enterprise security practices.
Cloud & Hybrid Networking: Solid understanding of AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP networking, including VPC, hybrid connectivity, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, Cloud VPN, load balancing, and secure multi-cloud environments.
Network Automation & IaC: Practical experience with Python, Bash, YAML, Ansible, REST APIs, and automation frameworks for network provisioning, configuration, compliance, and operational improvement.
Network Monitoring & Performance: Hands-on experience with monitoring and analytics tools such as FortiAnalyzer, PRTG, Cacti, SolarWinds, or equivalent platforms for performance monitoring, capacity planning, fault detection, and incident management.
Troubleshooting & Incident Management: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience handling complex network issues, conducting root cause analysis, and restoring critical services promptly.
Design & Strategic Planning: Ability to lead technical teams, develop network strategies and governance, manage modernization projects, oversee vendors, and align network investments with business requirements.
Project & Stakeholder Management: Experience managing enterprise infrastructure projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and presenting technical matters effectively to management, business teams, and external partners.
Professional Certifications: Certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, PCNSE, Fortinet Certified Professional/Expert, F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator, AWS Advanced Networking – Specialty, Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate, or equivalent qualifications will be preferred.
Vendor Expertise: Practical knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, A10, and Check Point networking and security technologies.

Responsibilities & Context

Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and hybrid cloud environments, ensuring strong availability, scalability, and security.
Oversee the administration, maintenance, and lifecycle of key network technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, WLC, APs, WAF, load balancers, and UCM platforms.
Lead the implementation and optimization of enterprise routing and switching technologies such as OSPF, BGP, VLAN, STP, VTP, EtherChannel, HSRP, VRRP, and vPC in line with industry standards.
Provide technical leadership for secure connectivity solutions, including IPSec, SSL, and GRE VPNs, remote access, and Zero Trust security initiatives.
Implement proactive network monitoring, performance analysis, and capacity planning using tools such as FortiAnalyzer, ManageEngine, Cacti, and PRTG.
Lead L2/L3 technical support operations, guide engineering teams, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to deliver secure and reliable network solutions.
Manage network maintenance activities, including firmware and OS upgrades, security patching, configuration management, and disaster recovery planning.
Establish and maintain enterprise network standards, policies, and governance frameworks while ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
Assess and implement emerging technologies such as SD-WAN, cloud networking, network automation, SDN, and Zero Trust Architecture to support digital transformation.
Manage infrastructure projects from planning to implementation while coordinating with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
Strengthen business continuity and incident response by conducting root cause analysis, implementing preventive actions, and driving continuous service improvements.
Mentor and develop network engineering teams while promoting technical expertise, knowledge sharing, and a culture of continuous improvement.
