Officer / Sr. Officer - Internal Audit

• Candidates with experience in manufacturing, agro-based industries, FMCG, or diversified business groups will be preferred.

• Strong understanding of auditing principles, internal controls, and risk management practices.

• Good knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Practical experience with ERP systems will be considered an advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines effectively.

• Willingness to travel extensively to factories, branch offices, and project locations across Bangladesh.

• Demonstrates a high level of honesty, integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct operational, financial, compliance, and management audits according to the approved audit plan.

• Perform surprise audits and inspections across factories, warehouses, depots, sales offices, and corporate functions.

• Assess internal control effectiveness and recommend improvements to reduce operational and financial risks.

• Verify inventory, cash, fixed assets, procurement, production, payroll, and other business transactions.

• Examine financial records, vouchers, supporting documents, and ERP data to identify discrepancies and control weaknesses.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, statutory requirements, and applicable regulations.

• Prepare comprehensive audit reports covering observations, risks, root causes, and practical recommendations.

• Monitor audit findings and follow up to ensure corrective actions are implemented on time.

• Support fraud investigations, special audits, and management review assignments as required.

• Coordinate with relevant departments to collect necessary information and documentation.

• Maintain confidentiality of audit-related information and uphold professional integrity.

• Perform other duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

• Male candidates only.

• Age: 32–45 years.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a relevant field.

• CA (CC), ACCA (Part Qualified), CMA (Part Qualified), or equivalent professional qualifications will be an added advantage.

• Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.

• 2–6 years of relevant professional experience.
