Officer- PPM, BRAC Health Programme (Project Staff)

Major Responsibilities

• Develop monthly work plans and conduct regular field visits to experienced consultants and healthcare professionals to strengthen referral linkages.

• Maintain and regularly update mapping of public and private healthcare facilities and service providers, including tertiary hospitals, medical college hospitals, private hospitals, diagnostic centers, and other relevant facilities.

• Facilitate the referral of TB presumptive cases from public and private healthcare providers through regular and effective field visits.

• Ensure systematic screening at healthcare facilities by applying the FAST strategy to identify individuals with presumptive TB.

• Ensure proper registration and documentation of all confirmed TB patients referred from public and private healthcare facilities.

• Assist in strengthening and expanding the Public-Private Mix (PPM) approach for TB prevention, care, and control in accordance with the national policy framework.

• Organize and facilitate orientation sessions, meetings, and awareness activities for healthcare professionals.

• Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly reports accurately and within the निर्धारित timeline.

• Review and analyze project performance data and provide relevant information to district-level management to support effective decision-making.

• Promote and implement BRAC’s gender policy while supporting gender equality and women’s empowerment throughout project activities.

Safeguarding Responsibilities

• Ensure the protection and safety of programme participants, organizational stakeholders, and team members from harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, exploitation, and sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA).

• Provide appropriate support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding practices to help maintain a safe and respectful working environment.

• Promote awareness and compliance with the organization’s safeguarding policies among team members and ensure that safeguarding standards are incorporated into all project activities.

• Follow the established safeguarding reporting procedures for any reportable incident and encourage colleagues and relevant stakeholders to do the same.
