Responsibilities & Context

A National Sales Manager (NSM) is responsible for developing and implementing nationwide sales strategies, leading regional sales teams, and driving revenue growth to achieve organizational targets. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and proven experience in sales management.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute national sales strategies, set targets, and ensure alignment with overall business goals
  • Team Leadership: Lead, guide, and mentor regional and area sales managers to enhance team performance
  • Sales Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate daily, weekly, and monthly sales metrics, including targets, collections, and new customer acquisition
  • Market Expansion: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and identify opportunities for growth and expansion
  • Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and business partners
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present sales performance reports, market insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management and the board
