The Management Trainee Officer – IT is an entry-level position aimed at developing future IT professionals and leaders. This role offers hands-on exposure to IT operations, system support, software applications, and information security, along with an understanding of organizational processes and management practices. The position is designed to strengthen technical expertise, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills through structured training and practical on-the-job experience.
Support daily IT operations, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and end-user assistance
Assist in the maintenance and administration of hardware, software, networks, and database systems
Participate in IT-related projects such as system enhancements, software deployment, and process optimization
Help analyze business and technical requirements and prepare basic documentation
Provide first-level technical support to internal users and escalate issues when required
Assist with data management, reporting, and system testing activities
Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and information security standards
Coordinate with other departments to understand business workflows and IT requirements
Learn and apply best practices in IT service management and governance
Take part in structured training programs and rotational assignments within the IT department
