Merchandiser

OVS is looking for a MERCHANDISER:

 

Our fast-growing retail organization is expanding our business in Europe. For our Bangladesh liaison office we are looking for professional candidates to fill the following position:

Job Context

 

We are seeking experienced, presentable, and highly motivated Merchandisers to independently manage the complete merchandising process, from sourcing and product development to quotations, approvals, and timely shipment. Selected candidates will oversee their assigned departments and work closely with the Italian buying team, serving as an extension of its operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret buyers’ tech packs and feedback, guiding technicians and factories in sample development.

• Coordinate daily with the Internal Technical Team to secure pre-production and production sample approvals according to the commercial standards set by the overseas head office.

• Work closely with the Internal Quality Team to ensure timely shipment of orders.

• Follow up on sustainability documentation, including BCI credits, Garment Transaction Certificates (TC), and other required records.

• Employment Status: Full-time: From Monday to Friday

  Workplace: Uttara, with the requirement to travel to vendor’s if/when needed.
