Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and responsible Medical Officer to manage factory medical services, promote employee health and well-being, and support occupational health and workplace safety initiatives. The position will oversee medical support for employees and workers while ensuring proper health awareness, emergency preparedness, and compliance with applicable workplace health standards.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Oversee and manage day-to-day factory medical services and healthcare support for employees and workers

✔ Plan and implement employee health campaigns, wellness initiatives, and occupational health programs

✔ Conduct health awareness sessions on common workplace injuries, illnesses, occupational health risks, and preventive measures

✔ Educate employees and workers on personal hygiene, workplace health, sanitation, and healthy practices

✔ Conduct age and health verification during recruitment and whenever required by company policy

✔ Assess and verify cases related to permanent disability, occupational diseases, incurable illnesses, and mental health conditions as required

✔ Conduct monthly health follow-ups for pregnant workers and provide appropriate guidance regarding essential nutrients, including vitamins, calcium, and iron

✔ Provide counseling and health guidance on pregnancy-related risks, postnatal care, newborn care, breastfeeding, and maternal well-being

✔ Ensure timely implementation and proper documentation of the monthly employee vaccination program

✔ Train and guide First Aid Brigade members and ensure first aid boxes are adequately stocked, maintained, and readily available

✔ Review and approve medical bills related to workplace accidents and occupational illnesses received from external hospitals and healthcare providers

✔ Review and approve internal and external sick leave requests and prepare employee fitness reports when required

✔ Review and approve maternity leave requests in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations

✔ Maintain accurate medical records, reports, and documentation related to employee healthcare and occupational health activities

✔ Coordinate with management and relevant departments to identify workplace health risks and recommend appropriate preventive measures

✔ Support factory management in maintaining a safe, healthy, and employee-friendly working environment

✔ Perform other medical, occupational health, and employee welfare responsibilities assigned by management
