Medical Assistants / Skin Therapists are trained professionals specializing in therapeutic facial and body care, with strong knowledge of skin biology, anatomy, cosmetic chemistry, and key body systems. They provide customized medical and non-medical skincare treatments based on individual client needs and recommend appropriate products and post-treatment care.
Skin Therapists address various skin and body concerns such as acne, acne scars, pigmentation, dead skin cells, wrinkles, fine lines, enlarged pores, anti-aging concerns, and face and body contouring. While they perform advanced therapies, they do not diagnose medical conditions.
The role involves operating and handling modern skincare equipment and technologies, including microdermabrasion and light-based devices, ensuring treatments are performed safely and effectively following proper protocols.
Key responsibilities include:
Performing a wide range of facial and body treatments using state-of-the-art machines available at Bio-Xin Cosmeceuticals Skin Care Clinics.
Providing treatments for acne, acne scars, pigmentation, wrinkles, fine lines, permanent hair removal, and face & body contouring.
Assessing clients’ skin concerns and recommending suitable treatment plans and after-care solutions.
Maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism during all procedures.
Building trust-based relationships with clients by listening to their concerns and providing empathetic support regarding skin-related issues.
Ensuring proper use, care, and maintenance of skincare equipment and products.
