Mechatronics & Industrial Automation Engineer

Relevant experience in industrial or automation-related roles will be preferred. However, engineers with strong hands-on project experience and demonstrated problem-solving capabilities are also encouraged to apply.

You will be responsible for transforming automation concepts into practical and measurable business outcomes, whether solutions are developed internally or sourced from international automation providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and assess potential automation opportunities across various manufacturing operations.
• Research, evaluate, select, and technically define suitable local and international automation solutions.
• Manage FAT, installation, SAT, testing, commissioning, and production ramp-up activities for imported automation systems.
• Ensure automation projects achieve targeted improvements in ROI, productivity, quality, manpower efficiency, and energy savings.
• Optimize machine settings, cycle times, utilization, and operating procedures after commissioning.
• Develop in-house automation, machine modifications, and customized solutions where commercially feasible.
• Work with PLC, HMI, Servo, Sensors, Pneumatics, VFD, Robotics, Vision Systems, and Industrial Data as required.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and enhance existing automated and semi-automated machinery.
• Establish performance monitoring systems based on OEE, downtime, productivity, quality, and ROI for automation projects.
