Education:
Completion of Class 8 (VIII).

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years, preferably in the dairy, FMCG manufacturing, or packaging industries.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience in installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of ACs and refrigerators
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Good physical condition
  • Understanding of commercial and residential refrigeration system operations
  • Ability to diagnose malfunctions and defects in equipment
  • Proficiency in operating tools, gauges, and other testing equipment for refrigeration systems
  • Technical expertise in AC and refrigerator maintenance
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in teams
  • Skills in team building and technical proficiency

Responsibilities & Context

  • Ensure both preventive and corrective maintenance of refrigerated van ACs, market fridges, AHUs, room ACs, refrigeration plants, and air compressors.
  • Handle all types of troubleshooting tasks for refrigerated van ACs and market fridges, including issues related to electrical circuits and wiring.
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate records of preventive and corrective maintenance, including checklists, log sheets, and other relevant documentation.
  • Actively contribute to optimizing the use of spare parts.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of team members, protecting them from harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, or exploitation, and support the implementation of the programme’s safeguarding goals.
  • Serve as a key resource for guidance, expertise, and support on safeguarding, helping to create and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Promote and uphold safeguarding policies among team members and ensure that safeguarding standards are applied consistently in all activities.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedures in the event of any reportable incident and encourage others to do the same.
