Manager - Lab

• Deep understanding of laboratory quality systems and environmental compliance regulations.

• Proven experience in environmental reporting and driving sustainability initiatives.

• Requires 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in laboratory management, environmental monitoring, and analytical testing.

• Mandatory hands-on experience in GC-MS operation, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and data interpretation.

• Proven experience performing 16 PAH (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons) testing and other REACH compliance analyses on raw materials via GC-MS.

• Strong background in environmental compliance, wastewater treatment, water quality, and energy management is highly preferred.

• Core competencies must include GC-MS operation, ETP/STP management, and chemical management systems.

Job Descriptions:

• Oversee daily laboratory operations to ensure efficient testing workflows.

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation, specializing in GC-MS (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry).

• Lead comprehensive environmental monitoring, including air emissions, water quality, and solid/hazardous waste management.

• Oversee Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) operations, ensuring effluent parameters meet regulatory discharge standards.

• Ensure strict compliance with local environmental regulations, international standards, and health and safety (HSE) guidelines.

• Perform chemical analysis, instrument calibration, validation, and laboratory quality assurance.

• Track energy, water, and resource consumption to identify and implement efficiency improvements.

• Coordinate with regulatory authorities during environmental inspections and compliance audits.

• Manage laboratory safety, inventory, chemical handling, and equipment maintenance schedules.

• Maintain thorough laboratory documentation and collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and management teams.
