Job Summary
The Manager – Estate will oversee land-related documentation, survey activities, mutation processes, legal coordination, and regulatory compliance. This role requires strong expertise in land laws, settlement procedures, and government regulations to ensure proper management, protection, and acquisition of company land assets.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and process mutation cases with the AC Land Office, RAJUK, and other relevant authorities.
Review and verify documentation related to land transfer, registration, and sale permissions (RAJUK/Ministry approvals).
Maintain regular liaison with government offices for all land-related matters.
Prepare and handle documentation for civil cases, including title suits, injunctions, succession cases, and related legal matters.
Draft Statements of Facts (SF) for cases filed by opposing parties.
Supervise land survey and settlement operations, including handling disputes (U/S-30) and appeal submissions (U/S-31).
Ensure proper documentation to support land classification during acquisition processes.
Manage land development tax (LD Tax), including assessment, calculation, and timely payment.
Process mutation and name change records with City Corporation, WASA, Titas, and other utility authorities.
Prepare applications for prior approval from the DC Office for industrial land purchase, both inside and outside city corporation areas.
Handle mortgage documentation and property redemption processes.
Ensure compliance with relevant land regulations, including P.O-96, P.O-98, and the Land Reform Commission guidelines (1984).
Maintain updated knowledge of KA & KHA Tapsils of vested property and other applicable laws, rules, and circulars.
Keep all land records, files, and documentation properly organized and updated.
