Job Summary

The IT Support & Network Specialist will provide technical support to end-users, maintain network infrastructure, and ensure the reliable operation of IT systems. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing network security, maintaining system performance, and supporting IT infrastructure improvements. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to delivering reliable IT support.

Key Responsibilities

IT Support & End-User Services

✔ Provide first-line technical support to employees by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.

✔ Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.

✔ Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory and other IT systems.

✔ Record, track, and document IT support requests and resolutions through the ticketing system.

✔ Assist with software updates, patch management, and system upgrades.

✔ Conduct user training sessions and prepare documentation to help employees resolve common IT issues.

Network Administration & Security

✔ Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi access points.

✔ Maintain network security using firewalls, VPNs, and other appropriate security measures.

✔ Analyze network performance and implement improvements to ensure reliability and efficiency.

✔ Assist in managing cloud-based infrastructure, platforms, and services.

✔ Implement and enforce IT policies, network security practices, and data protection procedures.

System Maintenance & Information Security

✔ Perform routine system monitoring, data backups, and disaster recovery procedures.

✔ Ensure compliance with organizational IT security policies and applicable standards.

✔ Identify, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats and system vulnerabilities.

✔ Conduct periodic IT audits to evaluate system performance, security, and reliability.

✔ Administer and troubleshoot email systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Gmail, and custom email domains.

Collaboration & IT Project Support

✔ Collaborate with IT team members to implement new technologies and improve existing systems.

✔ Support IT infrastructure projects, including system migrations, upgrades, and new implementations.

✔ Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware and software procurement, maintenance, and technical support.
