  • Minimum age: 30 years.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in Inventory Management, Accounts, or Finance, preferably within the Retail, E-commerce, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Supply Chain sectors.
  • Practical experience in inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, warehouse operations, and financial record management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar ERP and financial management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with POS (Point of Sale) and Inventory Management Systems for stock tracking and reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, Data Validation, and Report Generation.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing sales and inventory data will be considered a significant advantage.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, inventory valuation methods, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reconciliation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail while handling financial transactions and inventory records.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities & Context

We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and organized Inventory & Accounts Specialist to manage day-to-day inventory operations and financial activities. The ideal candidate will ensure inventory accuracy, maintain financial records, oversee stock movements, and support efficient accounting processes while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Monitor, record, and reconcile daily inventory transactions, including stock receipts, sales, returns, transfers, and damaged goods.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and stock audits to ensure consistency between physical inventory and system records.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify stock shortages or excesses, and implement effective inventory control measures to minimize losses.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, operations, and showroom teams to ensure timely stock allocation and inventory availability.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and prepare regular stock movement and inventory status reports.
  • Monitor inventory levels and recommend timely replenishment to prevent stock shortages and overstocking.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all inventory transactions and maintain compliance with internal inventory control procedures.

Accounts & Finance

  • Maintain accurate daily books of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash transactions, and general ledger entries.
  • Process supplier invoices, verify purchase orders, and ensure timely payment processing in accordance with company policies.
  • Reconcile bank statements, cash balances, and sales channel transactions on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare monthly financial summaries, including Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), gross profit analysis, and basic financial performance reports.
  • Maintain proper financial documentation, vouchers, invoices, and supporting records for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, cash flow reports, and financial forecasts as required.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate financial records and necessary documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation, VAT regulations, and company financial policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory accuracy, financial reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Perform any additional inventory, finance, or accounting-related responsibilities assigned by management.
