Indoor Medical Officer (IMO)

Rangpur Community Medical College Hospital, a renowned healthcare institution and a sister concern of Rangpur Group, is inviting applications from qualified, experienced, and dedicated professionals for the above position.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments immediately after admission.
• Record detailed medical histories, conduct thorough physical examinations, and complete all required clinical documentation within the first 24 hours of patient admission.
• Arrange and authorize necessary diagnostic investigations as recommended by the primary consultant, including urgent investigations whenever clinically required.
• Conduct regular ward rounds for surgical patients, evaluate their clinical condition, and ensure treatment plans are implemented according to the consultant's instructions.
• Complete daily inpatient rounds on schedule and accurately update case sheets, progress notes, medical records, and all required JCI documentation without delay.
• Administer and supervise prescribed treatments while ensuring the correct dosage, frequency, route of administration, and necessary safety precautions for all medications.
• Continuously monitor patients' clinical progress, revise treatment plans when appropriate, and respond promptly to medical and surgical emergencies.
• Prepare discharge summaries in a timely manner and provide patients with clear instructions regarding medications, follow-up care, and discharge recommendations.
• Supervise, mentor, and provide clinical guidance to Registrars and Resident Doctors in their routine duties to ensure quality patient care and professional development.
