Reporting to and working closely with the CFO and Asset Liability Committee (ALCO), the selected candidate will provide market insights, financial analysis, and strategic recommendations to support management decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Treasury Department, advise management, and contribute to investment strategy development while safeguarding stakeholders’ interests.

• Oversee the company’s liquidity requirements and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines.

• Monitor internal investments, including working capital, high-yield funds, and banking transactions, in line with company objectives and risk tolerance.

• Forecast daily cash requirements and support day-to-day financing decisions.

• Recommend investment strategies and policies to improve returns.

• Monitor the Loan-to-Deposit Ratio (LDR), Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR), Statutory Liquidity Ratio (SLR), and related reports; highlight deviations and critical issues to management.

• Oversee cash flow forecasting, financial modelling, and the effective allocation of financial resources.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with the central bank, commercial banks, and other treasury-sector stakeholders.

• Supervise refinancing and pre-financing facilities from Bangladesh Bank and collaborate with stakeholders on investment strategy development.

• Identify financial and operational risks within the department and implement appropriate mitigation measures.

• Perform other duties assigned by management.
