Proven ability to lead technical teams, enhance maintenance efficiency, and improve asset performance and reliability.

Hands-on experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and inventory control systems.

Strong commitment to safety standards, regulatory compliance, and effective project management practices.

Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with local management in Bangladesh and Group corporate teams.

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Planning

Design and execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans aligned with business unit operational requirements and Group Technical Services standards.

Coordinate with terminal operations and planning teams to align maintenance schedules with operational needs, ensuring minimal equipment downtime.

Implement Group-led initiatives such as predictive maintenance systems, CMMS deployment, and digital monitoring platforms in collaboration with ICT and Process Excellence teams.

Monitor maintenance KPIs, prepare performance reports, and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement to Group Technical Services.
Corporate Expansion & Due Diligence Support

Conduct detailed site-level technical evaluations covering asset condition, equipment performance, maintenance maturity, and infrastructure compliance to support expansion initiatives.

Prepare and contribute technical documentation, asset registers, maintenance risk assessments, and preliminary CAPEX/OPEX projections for corporate investment reviews and tender submissions.
Asset Maintenance (Execution)

Supervise preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities across all terminal equipment and infrastructure.

Lead and manage the technical team through structured job planning, real-time tracking, and productivity monitoring systems.

Ensure full compliance with safety standards, local labor laws, and environmental regulations, escalating critical matters to headquarters when required.

Manage relationships with OEMs to facilitate specialized repairs, warranty processing, and technical support services.
Breakdown Management
-
Establish and enforce emergency response procedures for critical equipment failures to ensure swift restoration of operations.

Conduct root cause analyses of breakdown incidents and implement corrective and preventive measures to minimize recurrence.
Inventory Management

Develop and manage inventory control systems for critical spare parts and consumables, balancing availability with cost efficiency.

Monitor inventory performance in alignment with Group policies, including re-order point management strategies.

Perform regular stock audits and implement measures to minimize waste, avoid obsolescence, and optimize lifecycle utilization of spare parts.
