Head of Arabic Language & Islamic Studies

• Preference will be given to Hafiz candidates or graduates with equivalent qualifications from recognized Islamic institutions.

• High proficiency in both Arabic and English is required.

• Experience Requirements
  Possess exceptional leadership, clear communication, and strong organizational skills.

• Demonstrate advanced capabilities in curriculum design and academic management.

• Maintain proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and modern educational technology.

• Guide and mentor teaching staff while upholding rigorous academic standards.

• Exhibit strong interpersonal strengths and practical problem-solving skills.

• Experience Requirements
  Require at least 5 years of teaching experience in Arabic Language or Islamic Studies.

• Prefer 2 or more years of departmental management or academic leadership within an English Medium or recognized school.

• Value a solid understanding of Cambridge or Pearson Edexcel curricula as a distinct advantage.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Arabic Language and Islamic Studies Department.

• Design, execute, and assess a curriculum that meets international standards and school objectives.

• Conduct regular observations, mentoring, and evaluations to maintain teaching quality.

• Offer academic guidance, leadership, and ongoing support to departmental staff.

• Formulate annual academic schedules, grading strategies, and progress reports.

• Oversee lesson plans, curriculum updates, exams, and grading moderation.

• Direct departmental meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions.

• Foster students' ethical, spiritual, and character growth through Islamic teachings.

• Maintain compliance with institutional policies, regulations, and quality standards.

• Complete additional tasks as designated by school administration.
