Job Responsibilities

1. Overall Quality Management

• Lead and manage the complete QA/QC operations of the knit composite factory.

• Develop and implement quality policies, SOPs, systems, and procedures.

• Ensure all products comply with buyer quality standards and specifications.

• Establish preventive quality assurance systems to minimize defects and rework.

• Maintain high buyer satisfaction through consistent product quality and on-time quality performance.

2. Fabric & Knitting Quality Control

• Monitor yarn quality, GSM, shade variation, spirality, shrinkage, contamination, and knitting defects.

• Ensure fabric inspections are conducted following the 4-Point System.

• Coordinate with Knitting, Dyeing, and Laboratory teams to maintain quality consistency.

• Monitor fabric relaxation, width control, and process loss management.

• Ensure proper maintenance of knitting and greige fabric quality records.

3. Dyeing & Finishing Quality Assurance

• Supervise shade approval, lab dip approval, bulk shade consistency, and finishing quality.

• Ensure proper control of shrinkage, color fastness, pilling, skewing, and fabric hand feel.

• Coordinate with Lab and Technical teams to reduce reprocess and shade variation issues.

• Ensure all physical and chemical testing requirements are completed according to buyer standards.

4. Cutting Quality Control

• Ensure fabric panel checking and cutting quality standards are properly maintained.

• Control fabric shade segregation and bundle management processes.

• Ensure marker accuracy and minimize cutting rejection rates.

• Monitor cutting defects and implement corrective actions promptly.

5. Sewing Quality Assurance

• Ensure proper implementation of inline, end-line, and traffic light quality systems.

• Monitor DHU%, RFT%, Alter%, Rejection%, and Repair trends regularly.

• Analyze sewing defects and implement corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans.

• Conduct regular quality meetings with Production and Technical teams.

• Ensure workmanship standards are consistently maintained during sewing operations.

6. Finishing & Packing Quality

• Ensure finishing appearance, measurements, ironing, folding, ticketing, assortment, and packing quality standards.

• Ensure shipment audit pass rates meet buyer requirements.

• Monitor carton quality and shipment accuracy.

• Ensure final inspection pass rates are achieved before shipment release.

7. Buyer Compliance & Audit Management

• Handle buyer QA visits, technical audits, and quality inspections professionally.

• Ensure compliance with buyer manuals, SOPs, and quality protocols.

• Coordinate with buyers regarding quality feedback, corrective actions, and continuous improvement plans.

• Prepare and maintain all QA-related reports and audit documentation.

8. Testing & Laboratory Coordination

• Coordinate with internal and external laboratories such as SGS, Bureau Veritas, TÜV Rheinland, and other testing agencies.

• Ensure all testing requirements are completed before shipment.

• Monitor failed test reports and implement preventive action plans.

• Ensure proper management of testing samples and laboratory records.

9. Root Cause Analysis & CAPA

• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major quality issues and buyer complaints.

• Implement CAPA for recurring defects and process failures.

• Conduct regular quality review meetings with cross-functional departments.

• Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives across operations.

10. Team Management & Training

• Lead and supervise QA Managers, QCs, Auditors, and Inspectors.

• Develop training plans for quality teams and production operators.

• Ensure skill development and succession planning within the QA department.

• Evaluate team performance using KPIs and quality metrics.

11. Data Analysis & Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for management review.

• Analyze DHU trends, defect analysis, rejection trends, and shipment performance data.

• Utilize ERP and digital systems for real-time quality monitoring and reporting.

• Present quality performance reports to management and buyers.

12. Cost Control & Quality Improvement

• Reduce rejection, alteration, rework, and process wastage.

• Improve First Pass Yield (FPY) and Right First Time (RFT) performance.

• Minimize customer complaints, claims, and shipment penalties.

• Support productivity improvement initiatives through quality stabilization and process control.
