Finishing Manager

✔ Age: At least 30 years.

✔ Strong knowledge of garment finishing processes, customer quality standards, packing requirements, and export shipment procedures.

✔ Comprehensive understanding of garment quality inspection, final audit, measurement verification, ironing, packing, and shipment preparation.

✔ Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and team management skills.

✔ Proven ability to lead and motivate finishing teams to achieve production, quality, and shipment targets.

✔ Ability to manage multiple production priorities while maintaining quality standards and on-time delivery commitments.

✔ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

✔ Hands-on experience in root cause analysis (RCA), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives.

✔ Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced garment manufacturing environment.

✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and production reporting tools.

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Finishing Manager to lead all garment finishing operations and ensure products meet customer quality standards and shipment deadlines. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technical outerwear manufacturing with proven expertise in managing finishing processes, improving operational efficiency, and delivering export-quality garments on time.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Lead and supervise all finishing operations from sewing completion through final shipment.

✔ Ensure finished garments comply with customer quality standards, specifications, and shipment requirements.

✔ Oversee all finishing activities, including thread trimming, ironing, stain removal, measurement checking, final inspection, folding, tagging, poly packing, carton packing, and shipment preparation.

✔ Coordinate closely with Quality Assurance (QA), Merchandising, Planning, Production, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely order completion.

✔ Monitor production efficiency, quality performance, departmental KPIs, and shipment schedules to achieve delivery targets.

✔ Analyze production and quality issues, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve finishing productivity and efficiency.

✔ Manage departmental manpower, equipment, workflow planning, and resource allocation to maximize operational performance.

✔ Ensure compliance with customer requirements, company policies, workplace safety regulations, and industry standards.

✔ Monitor defect trends and implement preventive measures to minimize rework, rejection, and production losses.

✔ Maintain accurate production records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly departmental performance reports and production analyses.

✔ Train, coach, and supervise finishing personnel to improve technical skills, productivity, and quality awareness.

✔ Collaborate with management to achieve production targets, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement.

✔ Perform any other finishing, production, or operational responsibilities assigned by the GM – Production or Management.
