Financial Analyst - Wholesale Underwriting

Proposed Job Grade: FAVP – AVP.

Prepare and evaluate credit proposals for the Corporate Client Segment in accordance with internal credit policies and applicable regulatory guidelines.

Perform detailed reviews of borrowers’ financial statements, cash flow, and repayment capacity to assess overall creditworthiness.

Verify the completeness of all required documentation, including security documents, external credit ratings, and regulatory compliance records.

Monitor the credit portfolio by tracking overdue accounts, SMA status, and early warning signals to identify potential credit risks.

Support regulatory compliance by preparing reports and data required for Bangladesh Bank inspections, internal audits, and other regulatory reviews.

Assist in assessing credit proposals against Environmental and Social (E&S) risk criteria and sustainable finance guidelines.

Maintain and update credit risk databases while preparing MIS reports for internal management and regulatory reporting purposes.

Coordinate with relationship managers and branch teams to obtain missing documents, resolve queries, and facilitate the timely processing of credit proposals.

Support the implementation of credit policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process improvements under the guidance of senior management.
