Job Summary

Asia Linkage, a garments accessories manufacturer, is seeking a creative and innovative Fashion Designer to join its R&D and Product Development team. The role involves researching fashion trends, designing new garment accessories, and converting creative ideas into commercially viable products. The candidate will focus on the research, sampling, and development of accessories such as 3D fabric flowers, bows, ribbons, jacquard elastic, lace, tassels, and decorative trims. Applicants of any gender with a graduate degree in Fashion Design or a related field are welcome.

Key Responsibilities

• Research fashion trends, colors, materials, design concepts, and international market requirements.

• Develop innovative garment accessories through research and product development activities.

• Design 3D fabric flowers, bows, ribbons, jacquard elastic, lace, tassels, and decorative trims.

• Generate new product concepts based on buyer specifications and emerging market trends.

• Prepare design sketches, technical drawings, color combinations, and product presentations.

• Create product samples and collaborate with the production team to ensure design accuracy and quality.

• Experiment with different fabrics, materials, textures, patterns, and decorative elements.

• Improve existing products through design innovation, quality enhancement, and cost-effective solutions.

• Coordinate with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams throughout the product development process.

• Maintain design portfolios, sample collections, product catalogs, and R&D records.

• Contribute to the development of innovative accessories for local and international garment buyers.
