Executive/Asst. Manager - Quality Assurance

 

Job Context

Majesto Limited is seeking qualified and detail-oriented QA Executives with strong knowledge of various furniture materials, including wood, plywood, MDF, metal, aluminum, and plastic, to ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials, components, fittings, and accessories to ensure they meet established quality standards.

• Conduct in-process quality checks at different stages of furniture production.

• Perform final inspections before finished products are moved to the warehouse or dispatched to customers.

• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, defect logs, rejection reports, and other quality-related documents.

• Identify quality issues, investigate their root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive measures.

• Collaborate with Production, R&D/Product Development, SCM/Purchase, and other relevant departments to resolve quality concerns.

• Verify finished products against approved drawings, samples, specifications, and quality requirements.

• Monitor rework, rejection rates, material wastage, and recurring defects, and suggest process improvements.

• Ensure compliance with company quality procedures, workplace safety requirements, and applicable product standards.

• Assist in developing inspection checklists, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), acceptance criteria, and testing methods.

• Ensure proper handling, storage, and traceability of inspected and rejected materials.

• Prepare and submit regular quality performance reports to the designated reporting authority.
